Fran Mangiacasale is a contemporary, classical and neoclassical dancer, teacher and choreographer.
Born in Italy he trained in Genova with national and international teachers, he then moved to London in 2002 where he continued his professional development in Contemporary, Ballet (with Roger Tully) and Dance Mastery (with Konstantin Pavlidis).

Fran has danced in numerous companies including The Lindsay Kemp Company, National Dance Company of Wales, Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre, Unstructured Light, Smallpetitklein, The Royal Opera House, The London Ballet Company and performed in different productions and projects with a variety of choreographers.
Fran was also Assistant Choreographer and Dance captain in productions at the English National Opera, Hamburg Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Azerbaijan State Academic Ballet and Opera Sao Carlo ( Lisbon ).

As Choreographer he has created work for Toos Foundation, Opera Fabula (Vienna), XOGA ,The London Ballet Company ,“Let’s all dance” and Blackheath Opera Halls.

Fran has been teaching Ballet, Contemporary, creative workshops and summer courses for Companies, Professionals, vocational schools, children, adults and over 60’s, He has a great passion in transmitting to his students what he was lucky enough to learn and understand from great masters.

Class Information

The classes begin with a barre workout and then move into the centre. During the class some technique is tackled but the main focus is on the joy of movement and musicality. The classes will help build confidence, flexibility, strength, expression of movement, poise and grace.

There is a pianist to give the class a great atmosphere and to help the teacher create a bespoke class for each group.

All level Ballet classes
These classes are for any dancers who have a basic understanding of Ballet right through to those who have a greater level of knowledge and experience.Bethany approaches and tailor makes the enchainement for the dancers who come to the class on that particular evening, rather than having pre conceived ideas. All our welcome to come and have a dance!

(No uniform requirements - leggings, vest tops, t-shirts. Ballet shoes preferable).

Beginner Classes
These are fun and informal classes for adults who are looking to learn the basics of the genre chosen. Our aim is to build your confidence, movement vocabulary and co-ordination in a relaxed and informative way. These classes are perfect for absolute beginners or those with some dance experience who wish to re visit the basics again and rebuild fitness levels, technique and confidence.

(No uniform requirements - leggings, vest tops, t-shirts. Ballet shoes preferable).

Intermediate Classes
These classes have been designed for adults who have had some previous experience in the genre chosen. A basic understanding of the techniques involved would be important and our expert teachers will help to develop these skills, build confidence and increase your dance vocabulary. Please note these classes are NOT for complete beginners.
