Fees & Funding

Funding is available, to eligible applicants, in the form of Dance and Drama Awards (DaDA).

DaDAs are income assessed scholarships funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).

PLEASE NOTE: If you are successful at audition, and if you are eligible, you will automatically be considered for DaDA funding at Laine.

The amount of funding, as allocated to the College each year by the ESFA, does not cover all those that are eligible.  The criteria for DaDA allocation specifies that scholarships are awarded to the most talented applicants until funds are exhausted. It is for this reason that those eligible for DaDA funding are placed on a ‘talent list’, and from that list, scholarships will be awarded to the most talented.

Fees for the academic year commencing September 2024 are £20,790.

We are proud that these young performers and creatives were once LTA Diploma students.

Creative Success

At Laine, we have built a reputation within the industry for training performers of all round ability and discipline, but more and more of our graduates are paving the way for innovation and excellence as creatives. We are proud to see our alumni across all areas of the industry. Olivier Award winning Choreographers, Directors, Producers, Casting Directors, Oscar winning Film Directors are all titles our alumni proudly hold. This points back to our training, which prepares students with the life skills, perseverance and resilience to enjoy a sustainable career with longevity, whether through performing itself or the ability to diversify into another field.
