Committed to creating an environment representative of society and increasing the diversity of young artists entering vocational performing arts training, the college has established Lanes to Laine, a permanent, funded initiative designed to bridge the space between vocational training in dance and musical theatre and under-represented communities nationwide.

The college now wishes to appoint a part-time, Access and Participation Co-ordinator to drive the Lanes to Laine initiative, shape the programme and implement strategic activity to establish and extend learning opportunities for talented, young musical theatre artists from all backgrounds.

Singing Tutor £37,000 (Pro rata 0.6 £22,200) 

We are seeking exceptional teachers, performers and communicators with the ability to inspire talented young performers, to join the singing department, working alongside the Head of Singing and the current team of six singing teachers. Our mission is to nurture young performers equipped for the demands of today’s performing arts industry.

Laine Theatre Arts wishes to recruit singing teachers for its Level 6 Diploma Course. The successful candidate(s) will be educated to degree level, have at least 5 years of professional experience and/or teaching experience at vocational level. A strong knowledge of Estill level 1 & 2 and/or similar physiologically informed schools of voice specialism is vital.

Ability to accompany on piano and a holding teaching qualification is highly desirable. Basic IT skills in Word, Excel and virtual teaching platforms are desirable.
