An energetic class that begins with a follow warmup incorporating basic street moves to upbeat music. The rest of the class concentrates on a routine changing every half term/term working on different street/commercial styles. This class is for all levels, but it helps if you have had some dance experience and it is a fun unique way to keep fit.
Uniform requirements – Trainers and comfortable clothing you can move in.
The class will begin with a gentle warm up, following on with centre practice and building up to a creative combination using elements from the class. The focus is to understand the principles of dance and strengthen the core to find freedom of movement.
This class is for people who likes to be challenged, we will explore the principle at the foundation of classical dance to find freedom of movement and enjoy every moment of the class.
A fun class consisting of a warm-up, technical work and a routine. It’s not just about the steps, we learn the vocabulary and musical rhythms to go with them so that you can build knowledge and confidence. This class is great whether you’re just starting out in tap or haven’t tapped in a while!
Beginners and improvers classes will take extra time at the barre learning the basics and then move into the centre practice for a chance to dance in the space with a sense of freedom and confidence.
Intermediate and Advanced classes will work through a thorough barre, exploring how the technique can express the dance. The centre practice will have enchainment and a chance to travel and explore allegro.
